The Dreamcatcher, from dream to design

The Dreamcatcher is an independent design project.
We believe that our secret wishes hold a creative energy, which is just waiting for us to be mastered and transformed into real living stories.

The Dreamcatcher, from dream to design

The Dreamcatcher is an independent design project. We believe that our secret wishes hold a creative energy, which is just waiting for us to be mastered and transformed into real living stories.

Our secret wishes are stories

Think about your secret wish, or your ideal life, job, or dream project you wish to do.

When you think about them you do it at your best: you don’t have any limits.

Our secret wishes are powerful stories in our mind but, when in the real world, we forget about them and we choose to live a different story because of confusion and lack of confidence in our creative and expressive energy.

The Dreamcatcher aims to awake our creative energy and expressive potential

Looking at the sparkling light in our eyes when we think about our secret wishes, we want to inspire people to transform the “I wish…” in real living story through the power of design and storytelling.

How does it work?
The goal of this project is to make dreamers "see" that, by designing and committing seriously to their secret wishes, they could become a real story, with a name, a reason why, an action plan to follow. If you slide right, you can find an explanation about the approach we are using.
1. Listening
Every journey starts with a listening phase to get to know each other. See the Dreamcatcher as a friend you really trust. We love listening to people, connecting the dots and seeing the potential stories behind. The tools we used to lead the brainstorming are inspired to design thinking, branding, business design... plus a bit of meditation.
2. From dreaming to designing
After the listening phase we will craft a report containing the necessary outputs to allow the dreamer see the dream as if it was a real story: it could be a moodboard, a mock up, a draw, an action plan. In any case the final outputs will transfer in real actions what the dreamer was only "dreaming" until now.
3. Sharing and telling
All the stories will be shared through social media. Why? Because the energy held in our dream is something that needs to be released, for it to become real and for inspiring others to do the same.
